Squidoo

Squidoo is another article writing site. I haven't personally done much with this site.  I do like the look and feel of the squidoo site but for whatever reason I haven't been very motivated to work with this site. It was stated by Seth Godin, an author. It calls it's pages lenses and there are well over 1,400,000 lenses. You write the lense much like an article. The passive income part is that you can add Adsense, Amazon, Ebay, CafePress and affiliate offers to your pages.

Earning money from revenue that the company receives from everything except Adsense is split like this: they give 5% straight away to charity, they keep 45% to pay salaries, bills, and keep the site running. That leaves 50% which they give directly to the lensmasters (that's you) for your good work. You can then either take your royalty payouts in cash via PayPal, or donate your royalties to one of a few hundred great charities. 

Ad revenue (Google and other ads). This money goes into a pool, so as to avoid clickfraud. Half of the pool distributes out to lensmasters, on a PayRank scale that is based on each lens's average LensRank and traffic, and the number and quality of lenses in the lensmaster's account.

As you build up traffic and lenses your earnings increase. Writing good quality lenses could provide a nice passive revenue source that will be around for a long time. Squidoo has been around since 2005, and got rolling in 2006 so it is not a fly by night adventure.

Free Passive Income Source

Hubpages is a great way to add a little passive income. It is an article submission site that supports Adsense and Amazon. I am very impressed with the quality of articles on this site. You can find most anything you want to know and has come to one of my go to sources when I want to learn about something.

The community there is terrific and quite informative. If you have a specific question about maximizing income you can ask in the forum. Sometimes you can get some great ideas just from looking at other peoples posts. I have learned a lot just from looking around.

Instant money? No. But with patience some hubbers claim that after a year they are making $1,000 a month. Earnings come from Asense, Amazon and refered hubbers. You gain a share of adsense revenue from the people you refer. Seo is optimized on the page making it a natural riser in the search engine stats.

Quality free income sources that will stand the test of time are worth a little time and effort. The goal is to set up several sources that will keep on giving.  Go to the site look around a little, and sign up for an account

No Cost Options

The purpose of this blog is to unearth and share no cost affiliate opportunities. The purchasing of affiliate products to begin your passive income stream just isn't an option for some people. There is work involved in making your stream become passive, and once you have gotten started you can use that income for other ventures. The other plus to starting with free ventures is that you learn what it takes to get the income flowing on the Internet before investing. The main thing is to keep focused and keep your eyes on the prize. It's not overnight, but it is so worth it!
